RC, if you beat me straight up, I won't give you the pleasure of ripping my heart out. I'll do it myself and stick it up your tight, little candy a$$. You know I love you when you talk dirty to me, right? lol!

I would like nothing more than to face "black death" straight up and take him down in flames, stand over his defeated body, rip his heart out, and tauntingly show it to him beating with his last living breath.

Well, maybe you could buy me a beer instead if that ever happened.

Unfortunately for me, a scramble format hides many of the "leaking" aspects of my game. I am having way more fun with the game this year however. Scores not dropping much because of chipping and putting needing some more love, but so much more fun to be "in play" so much more often.

Post by uncledave on Wed May 28, 2008 1:31 am

Now all u have 2 do is get it in the hole baby. Put some fur on it. Oh, did I say that...of course I did.
I had a couple great days of practice before I had to depart for work. Used my vid camera to check a few things and it was helpful. Still didn't swing any better, but at least I can see why.
Up on theTug Hunter in Annie's Corset waiting for a ship job this PM. Looks like I'll be back home on June 4th or 15th.
See ya on the green y'all,
D

Won $60 dollars on Golf tonight

Post by Pill on Tue May 27, 2008 2:30 am

Guess that makes me a pro. Actually, was our regular Monday night two man scramble. A bunch of good 'ole boys but some really good golfers. Some teams have to actually give strokes back in the handicap system because they are too good. We started on a hard Par 3. 194 to the hole over a bunker right in front of the flag. There was quite an assisting wind so I selected a 6 iron. My partner promptly put his shot in the lake over which you have to hit the shot. I stepped up, hit the most beautiful 6 iron I could imagine and put it about 12 feet just past the hole (no, we didn't sink the birdie). I knew it was going to be a good night because I had that "loving feeling". My partner then warmed up and I kept hitting good and we won the tournament. I even hit a 285 yard drive (with a good wind assistance). No need for reinventing the whole "Pill" argument, I really hit it.

The working swing thought for the night: "When it's breezy, hit it easy". Worked like a charm. Summer is thankfully back in Texas. I like the heat, it was about 90 and this old body could really turn on the shot.

I don't have anyone else to tell my exciting story, so you boys have to be subjected to it. So there's my "look at me" for the night.

Invited Scotty and Johnny to pipe in here

Post by Pill on Thu May 22, 2008 1:07 pm

Trying to get some of the boys back and get more action in here. Dave will do it when he gets back. No hope for Coz I assume. I notice Lance never stopped by, I don't know how to contact him. Wes? Maybe, I'll walk him through it. Trish can push on Jim. We had Cooky for a minute, not sure what happened there. Also, any other visitors you guys can think of would be fun.

Little alteration to the boards....

Post by Griz on Sat May 17, 2008 3:41 pm

I've been looking for days trying to figure out hoe to switch the messages sorting order from Oldest to Newest..to... Newest to Oldest. I like it better that way so I don't have to scroll through all the messages to get to the new ones.

What do you guys think, keep it or change it back?

I got that as well. It must send out an email before the new member finishes registering and hits the submit button. Or, Cooky removed herself. There is no longer a cooky registered.

I just learned how to not have the subject line change in the topic. That is how most people are used to using message boards. It was driving me nuts. All you do is hit reply then not put in a subject and just type in the text box. Damn that was driving me nuts.

Griz you are amazing!

Post by Pill on Wed May 07, 2008 11:38 pm

You got this thing working right and somehow got The Black Death Snap on it. You do good work! I may have to have you help me out on a couple of (yes for pay) projects as they come up.

Glad you like the board. I like how nice it looks, the pictures of the guys, and the other features. Will take a bit of getting used to but I think the guys will really enjoy.

How the hell did you get that chat board below the messages? I spent, I don't want to say how much, a lot of time trying to get that to happen Very Happy

You da man!!!!!

I wonder where the rest of our Amigo's have wandered off to?

For the record Mike set up this messageboard. I had looked at this board when I was looking for protected alternatives and found it difficult to navigate, but Mike talked me into trying it out. I'm glad he did!
